LA CHUMECA

$21.00

Single Origin Costa Rica - 12 oz bag

High in the steep mountains of San Pablo de Leon Cortes, Microbeneficio La Chumeca is shaped by four generations of coffee heritage and a constant spirit of experimentation. Established in 2014 by Martin Urena Quiros and his sons, the family translated a lifelong relationship with coffee into a focused pursuit of quility and traceablity, guided by close attention to soil health and the cultivation of a regenerative ecosystem. Working at elevations between 1400 and 2000 meters, they combine fermentation techniques with traditional drying on raised beds, allowing flavor to develop with clarity and precision. Rooted among native species and a living shade canopy, La Chumeca continues to evolve it farming practices with each harvest, earning regenerative certification for the third consecutive year and demonstrating how generations of knowledge shape the future of coffee.
