Jose Armando Portillo is an award winning farmer with a long family history of growing coffee. His product boasts the characteristics of pacas and pacamara varieties–sweet, creamy notes mixed with fruitier ones. These are made more prominent by Portillo’s use of honey processing, which leaves some pulp on the coffee bean while it dries, allowing for pleasant fermentation.
