Thailand is not traditionally known as a coffee producing country yet produces as much arabica coffee as Panama, Hawaii and Jamaica combined. The condition for growing arabica coffee in the Doi Pangkhon region is on par with growing regions in Central America. It has the right altitude, micro climate and soil to produce specialty coffee.
The farmers come from several indigenous hill tribes, are young and often posses a bachelors degree. They embrace experimentation and are open and interested in improving quality.
Coffee from Thailand is a first for Tunnel City Coffee. With its lemon peanut brittle flavor, we hope you enjoy this smooth & sweet coffee as much as we do!
